Who is eligible for voluntary benefits?
- Full-time employees
- Permanent Part-time employees (working at least 18.75 hours per week)
- Tutors (no longer eligible, but grandfathered for previously enrolled employees)
- Building and Long-term Substitutes
When can I enroll?
- New Hires: within 30 days from your date of hire
- All benefit eligible employees: Annual Open Enrollment
- Within 30 days of a Qualifying Life Event (marriage, death, birth, adoption, promotion, etc.)
How Do I Enroll in Voluntary Benefits?
- CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment to speak with a benefits counselor who will be able to answer your questions and assist you with your enrollment.
- We will have a Benefits Counselor call you at your scheduled appointment time.
When will my benefits be effective?
- Open Enrollment elections and changes: 01/01/2024
- New Hire Enrollments (after Open Enrollment): the first of the month following the date of your enrollment.
I forgot my login credentials for CCS Employee Self Service. Who do I call?
- Call CCS Help Desk at 614-365-8425, Mon – Fri, 6:30am – 5:30pm
How can I get a benefit confirmation for my Voluntary Benefits after I enroll during Open Enrollment?
- An email will be sent to your CCS email box the day after you enroll. The email will contain a link to the system with instructions on how to log in to view your benefit confirmation. As access to the system will be for a limited time, we suggest you download or print your benefit confirmation to have for your records.
Who do I contact about paying my Voluntary Benefits’ premiums if I am going to be out of work on an unpaid Leave of Absence?
- Call US Enrollment Services 800-735-0080 for instructions on where to send your premium payments to.
- IMPORTANT! You will need to call US Enrollment Services when you return to work, in order to re start payroll deductions for certain Voluntary Benefits.
